So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
I am sooooo annoyed right now, due to being snowed in, i havnt been able to collect some medication that i have to take, it was arranged to be delivered sometime before 5pm(when im due to take it) they know i have absolutely none left, yet i cant get hold of them and it still hasnt turned up
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

I'm annoyed that some people can't keep their extreme political views to themselves during the course of a work day.

Sometimes you just need to go out there and do it yourself!
Drive in snow much?
Here's some tips:
Keep your headlights on at all times, even during the day, and make sure to use all of your signals.
Keep to the plowed streets as much as possible, there may be a lot of traffic, and it doesn't guarantee there won't be black ice, but it's better than getting stuck on a side street.
Stay in low(er) gear, if you feel your tires slipping, let off the gas a little bit so they gain traction, don't hit the gas, you'll decrease the chance your tires will grip, but if they do grip and you're flooring it, you could risk losing control entirely.
Keep your distance from other cars even if someone is riding your ass like an idiot. Slow to stop, never hit the brakes hard, doing so will increase your chance of fishtailing which trying to correct on narrow streets is unlikely.
Take turns slow! I can't stress this enough. People think because they can go 60 miles per hour (what's that...100 kph?) on a straight road, that they can still turn like they normally do. Every action should be deliberate, like stopping, slow to the point you need to turn at, braking is fine, but do it gradually, letting off if you feel like you're slipping, then take the turn slow.
If you're changing lanes on a road that isn't plowed and there's ruts in the snow from other vehicles, try letting off the gas entirely and using the car's momentum into rolling you into the next lane gradually, it really does not take much to cause your tires to slip on the snow that is still present and compacted on the street. I've seen many people lose control and slide into the median or shoulder because they didn't change lanes carefully.
For the most part it's best to stay off the street entirely, but sometimes you gotta venture out.
I've used all of these tips and more driving an '87 Honda Accord, and my '02 VW Golf, both small FWD cars and have never had an incident or accident.

I couldnt drive at this stage even if there was no snow, due to the effects the no insulin has on me, the next step wouldve been an emergency ambulance(pathetic really just for an insulin shot)
Its ok now though, its arrived. phew.

Yeah, except she has straight teeth.
I can just imagine Qwerty trying to drive in the snow. Dogs barking in the back, white knuckles on the steering wheel and she hasn't even gotten the car moving.
Dr. Doolittle does New England.
I went out two nights ago when it snowed with a friend to a parking lot and we rallied his scooter all over the place. Who knew you could get a scooter onto one wheel in snow, lmao.
