It's pretty trendy to consider the body to be in need of detoxification, but if the body was accumulating toxins the way proponents want you to believe it does, you'd be really, really sick.

Sweating, colon cleansing, etc - they have no health benefits that I am aware of, and could be dangerous for people prone to electrolyte imbalances and dehydration.

Sweat causes you to lose water and electrolytes, so if you enjoy saunas, sweat lodges, etc and are healthy to begin with, go ahead, but drink gatorade to replace what you are losing.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

I just started going again after a bit of a break. I go to one of two places depending on what I feel like. I'm starting to get more into the mental side of it. Keeping the mind still. I've started realising how much useless chatter goes on in my mind - all day every day. I really want to try and sharpen my focus.
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.

The last two times I went, I ended up pulling something in my neck. ARRRRGH! I'm in pain!!!

I kind of like the useless chatter going on in my head. It keeps me company.

I suppose that means I am not ready for the mental aspects yet - I am still trying to get my body to cooperate.

Not really... I walk/hike the local hills and mountains on all my days off (4 days/week, keeps my blood pressure down), but of course, that doesn't involve twisting your neck in awkward positions.

You're not doing much to sell me on the idea of yoga Vash. Why exactly do you keep doing it?

I don't know. I guess because I paid for a one month, all I could stand pass. Besides, ever since I graduated nursing school, I am bored a lot on my days off... I'm trying to find something more productive to do than post on these forums.
