    Porc is a nice, sweet meat.

    I think the biblical prohibition against porc came from the fact you could get worms from undercooked meat. And humans and pigs share viral vectors, so you could get sicker from having them around. Its one of those outdated things that became habit, IMO.

    Anyway, if you haven't had Canadian back bacon, you are missing out. Not the stuff they sell in the US, btw. That's not it. Peameal bacon is like a cross b/t a ham steak and porc jerky. Its actually cured porc loin. Delicious.

    This is the first time I've seen someone say "porc" instead of "pork".
