I think the factor that this woman shared her obviously regretful past with you should be enough for you to understand she's making an effort. It should not matter how many people someone she has slept with, and if you judge them for that, you shouldn't be with them in the first place. I understand that it may be a little uneasy knowing she cheated on her ex, but the fact they she was up front about it shows she's making a change in her life. What's in her past only makes her who she is. Everyone has to start somewhere,a nd if you can't accept her for who she is, I'm sure someone else will.
