He's just not that into you^. Sorry. If I got a message like this from my SO I'd tell him straight to get stuffed. He's not at all interested in how you feel. You are just another (low priority) problem of his to solve. Move on.

Again, my SO travels a lot. He contacts me like crazy when we are apart. You are too impressed with his job status. It was your 2nd sentence in your OP. "High up in law enforcement" lol. Try a global executive, a neurosurgeon or a university president. If those guys can find time for SOs and families, he can. You just aren't that important to him, I'm sorry. He probably needs a career woman who is just as busy as he is. You aren't that. That's a him problem, not yours, btw. But you do need to move on.
