Thanks indi. I am actually thinking about a macbook. Anyway, he's having the time of his life. The dorms at his schools are co-ed (they even share a bathroom) and so his social life is booming. He is studying hard though... his chem class is tough.

I'll second that mom thing. I am 22 and still talk o my mom once every few days and end up at their house a few times a week.

Just don't call constantly, my dad had to explain to my mom why I wasn't answering the phone all the time, he knew what it was like being a guy at college, lol.

Anyway, thanks to you all for your supportive words. My boy actually DID call me. Apparently, he still needs me when he feels overwhelmed. YAY! I am still a mom. hehehe

What I enjoyed today was getting called off of work due to a low number of patients. I may go shopping or to see a movie.

When I flew the coop I never called my mom. We spoke only when she called me, and when she got into the habit of calling too often I didn't answer for months at a time. As for my dad, I've gone a full year without calling or visiting in the past.

lol, a couple summers ago I took a summer class here. They put the kids staying in dorms over the summer all in the womens dorm. That is, the dorm used to house exclusively girls during the school year

In the showers, there were printed signs telling the girls not to bring their "partners" into the showers because it was a health hazard. The sign told the girls to keep it in their own room
