I live in the state of michigan. here it is a mandatory thirty days in jail, one year probation and 1,000 to get license back. 2,OOO in fines and court costs for your first offense.

Well here its 30 days in jail (first offense) 20 of which are suspended. The jail time is work release so you spend the night but you go to work in the morning. $1500 in fines, 90 suspension of license. Interlock for 1 year ($65 per month). NO FUN.

this has been a big ordeal for me. i'm not into drinking and driving usually i'm alot more responsible and have a dedicated driver. actually my bf was suppose to be dedicated but i think we all can see what a ******* he is.
