    Ok, so, picture me coming back from my field trip with no internet access and checking the "new posts" to see what I missed.. hm.. frasbee and ames not having sex yet.. Journey is undecided between two girls, gigabitch getting married, a few standard "help me" threads by randomers.. wait, WHAT?

    I'm sorry I missed the announcement! Congrats! I'm going to read the rest of this thread now, but I wanted to say that right away

    aww, i'm so excited for you giga.

    Yeah I'm a small-wedding person, too. Whenever I've thought of how I'd want my wedding to be, I simply couldn't picture myself with the dress and veil and the giant cake and the whole being-given-away thing, either. Too much pressure for everything to be perfect.

    I'm sure it'll be lovely, giga (: I'm dying to know the details!

    Seriously, we were married twice (so NO escape for me, lol). One civil ceremony here w/close family & friends in attendance. We had a lady do the ceremony, it was great. Then again in the old, musty, old (did I say that already) family parish church in UK by relative who is THE classic English vicar. That wedding was actually a little frightening in its intensity, I think it was to do w/the fact the church was over 800 years old.

    Very small, very civilized. No big foo-foo dress, etc for me. But that's not my thing so I was very happy; you gotta do what makes you happy.
    Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.
