Really people..there is nothing to worry about. When you die you won't know that you are dead so whocares anyways.

Yea, you basically have to live your life knowing that it's worthless cause your going to die anyhow. That's why I tell people to STOP THINKING, because all your doing is wasting time. When you want something, go for it, quit with the bullshit.

Humans have proven in history, that going on impulse only destroys us quicker. You need some form of logical reasoning. Although I do agree, that somethings are worth going for without question.

this is just another thought that you might want to add to this thread. as i have started another thread, i just seen the movie the jacket. imagine if you knew that you were going to die and when you were going to die to the exact date. now human nature would be to find out the reason of your death or actually try to prevent your death to the best of your powers. it's kinda scary if you know on a rough scale the people that were going to be around you when you died, speaking you weren't sure who you could and couldn't trust.

I can't wait to see that movie (The Jacket). Sounds really intriguing. I'd probably be out of my mind if I knew I was going to die on a certain date.

When I was 16 I said that I would not allow myself to die a virgin. lol! What odd thoughts. Since thats accomplished I'm not sure what I'd do with my last day/hours. Probably be with my family and then I'd die peacefully in my sleep.

Wow..some of us really place a HIGH importance on sex.

I don't think I'd care to die a virgin*. My biggest regret if I died tomorrow would be not having learned more about myself, about this world, spirituality, existentialism, and just done more good in the world.

    Oi Oi to that.

I'm still dabbling in that whole existential philosophy.

One of my goals in life is as the Jeep commercial stated "Tell Better Stories". It's been what I've been shooting for for the past few years.

That's what I'm talking about, Frisbee.

The way I see it, one of two things: either you get rich quick and are able to travel in a moment's notice because you have all this money to spend and not have to be at work Mon-Fri..or you do the adventure thing where you have little to loose anyhow and so you are free as a bird..or as a homeless person...

There's inbetween points, I guess, like the Peace Corps or your Americorps thing, but I'm going for the adventure thing. I intend to spend some time working odd jobs just for the freedom I'll have to quit and do something else for a while.

    Here's to experiences!

I do not understand when people say things like " I haven't done this yet in life" and " There is still so much to do" . Are they all dellusional believing that you memories actually live on?. Someone needs to tell them that when you die you don't exist....if you think about it...when you are dead...you never existed in the first place. I dont care how depressing that sounds because it is the truth. So just eat, sleep, ****, and repeat the process. None of it matters at the end anyways.

Somebody needs to tell OV that different people have different perspectives on what's important to them. Some people care about legacy, some don't. Some people have ambitions of greatness, some don't. Some people want things and do something about it, some want things and do nothing about it.

Variety is the spice of life. If everyone thought like you, it would be a boring world. My rule is live and let live. You can effectively say you prefer something, but to go and insinuate that your way is the right way or the truth makes you look hard headed in my book.

One size does not fit all, and that, my friend is the truth.

weirdly enough, when i die, i won't want a grave. i think that overall it will be too much of a hassle for my future family. i'm fine with burning my ass and spreading my ashes in the ocean.

Yeah, I'd like to be incinerated too, just to make it easy and unceremonial. But think about this too..what if you had like your parents that would suggest the same thing.

"Man, I don't care..cremate me and dump my ashes down the toilet and flush".

Do you think you could bring yourself to do that to your parent's ashes?

Even if they're not really your parent's ashes..they just give you a little urn of random ashes from the furnace they burn you in, if I'm not misinformed.
