Bleh, some virus got in after I had reformatted my laptop but before I set up all the antivirus stuff, and while I got rid of almost all of it there's still something that causes the clicking on search links to redirect to random ad pages, and haven't been able to resolve it despite scanning and erasing with half a dozen programs for spyware, malware e.t.c.

Even reformatted the laptop again to get rid of it, and it's still there. Persistent little bugger.

This happened to me. I'm pretty sure it was a Firefox add-on that was doing it. Check your add-ons, maybe.

It reformats the C drive but I suspect that it's not all of it since Sony Vaio's has the factory reset files stored on the harddrive (e.g. no recovery disks are needed).

I think the partition is not being erased. I'm sure if you completely erase it and make a new partition and do a clean install, the virus will probably go away.

Lipp and really no anti-virus did the deal? Last time I had 5 really bad trojans that installed some program on my computer that I couldn't uninstall and all I did was installing anti-virus, scan all my computer and kill the bitches! Well if it's so bad and no anti-virus helps then yeah, do the format .... Whcih anti-vius you use? I use avast and it seems to be pretty good.

The thing that annoyed me today was having a really nice patient who I was able to give high-quality care to, and 5 minutes before shift change happens, her asshole son comes in and makes unreasonable ridiculous demands about an extremely minor thing, and made me hope I won't have her back again tomorrow.

90% of the time, it's not the *patient* who is outrageous; it's their f-tard families who have neglected their "loved ones" for so long, they end up sick in the hospital, and then they come in and behave like WE are mistreating them.
