Everyone SHOULD do it. That would be nice
Everyone should exercise as well but we understand that is not possible for every single one in the everyone statement.

I don't think everyone SHOULD do it, and I certainly don't want taxpayer money going towards everyone who wants to give it a go on a whim. If they have a history that demonstrates academic achievement but simply can't afford college, that's another story.
Had he talked about trade school, I would have been more supportive.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
Oh, I see. When he said "higher education", I thought he meant to include any training/education beyond high school. Yeah, not everyone wants college. It depends on their career aspiration. Trade school/vocational school, etc should have been included as his definition of higher education. If everyone went to colleges and universities we would not have the supply for labor work, blue collar work, etc.

"Why are you an atheist?"
"because I paid attention in science class."
I'm for it. Get as many people educated as possible. High school grades aren't necessarily a good indicator of college aptitude. Now, if after a semester you've got a 1.0 and you're not showing up to class, well, then cut off the funding.
I don't think there's anything more important than education and I don't think there's anything that pays off more in the long run. The more people we can educate, the better.

I thought everyone had gotten into college when I found out that by the age of 18, people still piss on the seat.
I read that two weeks into his presidency his approval rating dropped 10%. What do people expect?

I would have expected this negativity from you regardless of who was elected.
The problem is that he was being portrayed as some magical savior that was going to save our economy and change everything so quickly. He was doomed from the beginning.
It gets tiring seeing all of these ignorant people speaking their opinion when they don't know anything about what goes on behind the scenes.
I don't chase, I replace.
