If your mom is a professional chef, I suppose she should know how much to charge. After all, pros get paid. that said, if they were my friends, I'd just invite them to dinner at my house, and tell them to bring something inconsequential, like a salad.

She's not a pro chef as in occupation. I only used that to describe her expertise in cooking. She's taken classes and it was her MOS at one time. But it's not her profession.

first off, let me clarify things for you. i do not hate you in any sort of way. i don't hate any member of this forum, but i will admit that i tend to pick on those that i feel comfortable with a lot more. basically put, if i give you a hard time, then you've been recognized.

anyways, i don't remember which thread you are referring to, but if it's something that i didn't mean in a sarcastic way, then i meant it. i tell people like it is because that's the way that i want people to tell it to me. sure i won't agree all the time, and i probably will get mad too, but in reality, it's better knowing the truth rather than to have something sugar coated.

Of course I don't get offended because actually Raverboy is my first friend from LF and I know that even if he claims he really means I'm an idiot, deep in his drunk heart he loves me I know his special kind of language , so I wouldn't get offended even if he would call me a bitch.Why? I totally disagree. Vashti is a 'Mother' here. She's like the vise Mum You can always ask for advice ( of course not always I also sometimes disagree with Vashti, but I'm saying in general ) .

No they aren't family secrets. I don't really go anywhere to get certain recipes though.

I share them with people if they want to learn how to cook something. Especially out native dishes. Hawaiian Foods and such.
