Both of you guys are sounding like one goes from subtle comment to bone jumping. Not as widely experienced as you guys, nor so recently in the dating scene, so perhaps my POV is something of an anachronism.

Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

ah you guys are confusing me!!
idk how to do this. I want to bed a guy and sometimes i just want to say "have sex with me" but i dont know if it's socially acceptable
..holy shit
If he was attracted to you once you're probably not in the friendzone. Guys don't have a friendzone like women do.. Your either ****able or Un-****able. Unfortuantely that's the way we are wired lol. On the other hand a quality man will have a girlfriend requirement but thats unique to the individual. Just because we **** you does not mean we want to date you, but im sure that goes for both sexes. He mighta just given up, go show him some interest.

^Thank you.
Idk if you guys study personality types but I'm an INFP and he's an INTJ. so remember you're not dealing with normal people lmao
I feel like giving up. He's just too complicated for me. He goes out and drinks a lot, he calls me for help when he's plastered. He gets mad over little things. I dont like him anymore.
Since you "don't like him anymore" it stands to reason you weren't just "shy" to begin with, you might just not have felt comfortable enough around him to be intimate with him after all. It might just not have felt right for you, and in hindsight you may appreciate the fact that you may have dodged a bullet. Awkward sex is worse than no sex or intimacy at all, and can ruin more than just a possible romantic involvement, it can ruin a friendship. You were probably enjoying the "electricity" in the air around him, but weren't comfortable enough to act on it. Sounds like your instincts were right there, since you're now getting over him.
^You are spot on! I have moved on and my sexual urges have subsided lol.
I thought something was wrong with me, but he's awkward.
