hey! look at the X-Men movies ... they didn't look too bad!
I was a big comic book fan in elementary school ... X-Men related mostly ... but it ended in 6th grade ... I went through a quick phase in 2001 where I went crazy and bought all these books to fill in some gaps ... I have a complete run of Uncanny X-Men 101-400 ...
I don't know if I ever related myself with a character tho ... although, I thought Wolverine was badass when I was little ...no autographs, please!

omg Fras I LOVE AvP!!!!!!
I was so into that stuff man years back.. I have that same comic over at my mom's house, in some box in the basement! Plus a bunch of other series.. the one with the trophy wife, that one was great..
Did you ever read the novel AvP: Prey that that comic there was based on? I read it in 2 days I just couldn't put it down... damn dude you really brought back some memories... I have the old AvP action figures too!

I don't those original AvP comics but I do own the books, Prey, Hunter's Planet, and War.
Hunter's Planet was like an alternate sequel to Prey written by a different author and wasn't as good.
I do have the hard cover collector's edition of the entire AvP: Deadliest of the Species which I got for about 40 bucks. While everybody else was playin' with Ninja Turtles or GI Joes.
I was playin' with Aliens and Predators.
