I really loved goin to prom ... at my high school, the cool people werent the jocks, they were the "gangstas" ... so with that style, when u went to prom, it was one night when everyone was dressed all formal and shit ... no saggy jeans, white Ts, etc ...
in a sense, it IS part of the high school experience ... at least you can say you went to prom years later ... getting a date for both my proms were relatively easy, but I'm glad I went ... it IS the last time you really get to go to a school dance and be amongst your high school buddies while we're at our peak ... I mean, in 3 years, i'll be going to my 10 yr hs reunion and from the looks of things 7 years after, most of the people got fatter, uglier, etc ... so its a good thing to reminisce on hahah
I'm sure more of the suburban high schools were more like TV/movies ... but i dunno ... didn't go to any of them ... plus, my high school was a bit "darker" if u know what I mean ... haha
Anyhow, I don't see how it would hurt to say you went to prom in the future ...Last edited by tooxshort; 26-02-05 at 10:11 AM.
