^That's not something I want to think about right now.

Besides....I took the test last night, and it said NO. Yet still, there's nothing happening. Maybe I'm going through early menopause.

    Hi Blue...

If you are pregnant, well the first thing I would do is to congratulate you.

If not, you certainly can take it as a warning.

Anyway, and as childish as this may sound, if you are pregnant, please (I can only ask this), do not abort. A baby doesn't have to die to let you go on with your life.

    My best wishes for you.

FWIW, I absolutely loved being pregnant. My husband did too.

Don't tell her that. She's already hauling watermelons around.

Are you stressed, Summer? What's going on with you? And don't give me that menopause crap. Jeeze.

I hope your man pops the question now. I wouldn't want it to happen when you were knocked up. He'd better get on it if he wants to do the big romantic gesture.

Oh, and get back on the pill immediately, missie.

I agree. You can take the pill safely until around 35, Blue if you are healthy. Its not like the old days; Alesse & other low dose pills are quite safe & effective.

I am a bit stressed. Finals for school next week.

I was thinking the same thing.....if and when my bf ever asked me to marry him, I would HATE it if it was because I was pregnant. It wouldn't feel genuine. I'd feel like he felt obligated or something .

I need to find another birth control method, but the pill is not an option. I went back on it for a month last year (alesse) and the experience was horrible. I had an absolutely incontrollable appetite, even after eating a full meal. The hunger was so all-consuming I couldn't sleep at night, and ended up sleeping only around 2 or 3 hours a night for a whole month. I got really sick and exhausted.

Whew for now right! Well, if the pill isnt the way for you, look into the Depo shot. I love it. I have no side effects and LOVE that I dont have a period or anything to do with PMS. Ive been on it for over 10 years. The last 4 years Ive had to take bone density test because they've found bone loss with long term use. I also bone loss in my spine, maybe part of my problems. But its worth looking into it.
everything happens for a reason...beginning to wonder why.

Even though you know he already wants to, he doesn't know that you know, and that's just messy.

Oh, my God. The cuteness of that baby would be ridiculous.

What would happen to her if she had a bad reaction to the Depo shot? I mean, at least you can stop taking a pill.

My girl friend just told me something distressing - that one of her other really good friends took a pregnancy test three times and got a negative result every time.....but she was indeed pregnant.

****ing hell. I'll give it another week, and if nothing I'd best go to the doctor.

As for Depo.....the two people I know who went on it gained huge amounts of weight. And Giga's right....that stuff is in your system for MONTHS....if I had a reaction to it, there'd be nothing I could do.

Try a different kit from a different company. Unlikely that two from diff companies will be defective.

Have you looked at "Implanon"? It releases automatic low dosage after insertion. My ex had a lot of bad side effects to the pill as well, so she used this and it worked really well for her.
