Why is Bailey's cheap in Hawaii?

Easy. It comes from the Bail-i-kiki tree. And each summer, thousands of these trees ripen and their fruit falls to the ground. In the fruit, is the "concentrate" of Baileys; and all that is needed is sugar (which Hawaii has lots of sugar cane) and water, which again, Hawaii has lots of being an island an all. These trees are located on the small island of Ful-a-pupu.

Why is Bailey's cheap in Hawaii?

Duty-free chica. Got it at the airport. I don't live in the US anymore... and Baileys is $$$$ in Canada. The equivalent bottle would set me back about $50 before tax.
