He knows what I'll like so I enjoy letting him order for me. It's very intimate. I enjoy letting him pay for it, too. Also, I enjoy giving it up as soon as we get home. I enjoy folding his laundry, too. You guys probably think I'm kidding, but I'm not. (Don't worry, girls. He reciprocates.)

If it were a first date, I'd totally let him order for me. I'd be interested to see if he could do it without ****ing it up.

Hmmmm. Interesting question. That's got me thinking about how many women are out there that will make a decision about whether or not to sleep with someone based on a dollar amount. For instance, if a guy takes her out for a $50 meal at Outback Steakhouse he's not getting any, but if they were to go somewhere super fabulous and he dropped four hundred bucks, her panties would be on the floor of the car before they even got home.

Speaking personally, I can be had for effort expended. The fact that my boyfriend can order for me in any restaurant we might find ourselves in is only because he's asked many questions and watched me eat many meals, and has paid attention to what I like and don't like. That kind of attention is worth more than money to me.

I quite frankly, can't comprehend that kind of mentality.

    Ordering food for somebody?

How does that make any sense?!

    I agree. I don't get it.

It's control freakish. I can pick my own food thankyouverymuch.

Of course I can order for myself as well, and usually do, but what do you guys think of it as a test of the guy's skills? Can he order well? My guess is that most guys couldn't.

Would you eat the food if what he ordered was horrible? I would probably force it down out of polite-ness lol.

Hmmm. I didn't think of that. This might be part of the problem with letting someone order for you. I will eat almost anything. Seriously. I eat raw fish all the time.

Yeah, but that don't mean anything.

Some days I'm in the mood for one thing, other days I'm in the mood for something else. Sure, I might not mind havin' a steak, in fact I might actually really like steak. But what if I'm really in the mood for some fettuccine alfredo with steamed vegetables topped with a light sprinkling of black pepper?

I'd have to miss out on what I want simply to put the other person "to the test"?

    Nonsense.
