You got me... I admit it. I did it all for the LF thanks.

    And..thanks OV!

On a side note: It's amazingly easy to get married in NYC at city hall. And it's a trip. There are a bazillion people all there getting married, too. Some are decked out in full-on bridal gowns and tuxes and others are in their sweatpants.

We did it the day of the Yankees ticker tape parade last week and kept saying, "Isn't it nice that the city threw a parade for us?"

There was also a couple at city hall getting married in matching Yankees uniforms (!) I wish I got a picture of them because they were hilarious. I wonder if the Yankees lose next year, that means they'll get a divorce.

Big congrats! Your wedding just looked so fun and comfortable, not stuffy at all. That's totally the way it should be.

Totally DM! I wasn't sure there for a while with some of the guys I was dating before him. I always tried to see marriage as an option, but not the holy grail of life fufillment.

Meeting my now-husband was pretty unexpected. If someone told me at this time last year that I would be married, I'd tell them "No f**cking way!" Ha!

I'm sure there are a few people out there who feel that we got married too soon. (not specifically on LF but in real life). I wouldn't invalidate their opinions. Caution is never a bad thing and what worked for us wouldn't work for every couple.

Make sure you (re)read the Stages of Marriage sticky.
