Wow - that is great, but we will surely miss you! Do you have to take a vow of poverty and give up your computer to join? How did you find this organization?

Well I could bring my computer but I don't see the point as only the initial month will I be spending most of my time on the campus.

They will have a computer lab so I will not be completely 'net-less, though I won't get to spend nearly as much time on it as I do here at home.

They pay us about 150 dollars every other week (that's after taxes) as a "living allowance" which is cool cause they pay for food, clothing, transportation and lodging.

My service learning director at my old high school told me about it. Which reminds me...I should visit her before I leave...
