I'm sick-sick. I've got a cold. I barred uni today, to try and get over it.
I just got too rundown. Late nights with work and uni. And a huge weekend down at the snow. Two 4am finishes in two nights and two days snowboarding and two eight hour drives. It all just got a bit much.

I know, we're pretty deprived in that area. It was pouring rain on the mountain when I was there. Sludgy, slow snow. They kept shutting the lifts too. I've done it overseas as well so I know how good it can be. I did it Japan a few years ago.
Also Aussie snow is hard. Guy I was riding with broke a bone in his back. Not as bad as it sounds, but still pretty bad.Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.

The thing about Tofino is that you can get really big waves from storms, but only in winter. Canadian winters (Nov-Mar) are, well, cold. Its what we are famous for. People who do it here are kinda nuts, IMO.
December in Hawaii, Cali or Mexico just makes sense. yeah I've seen footage. You can get pretty incredible wetsuits now though. Some of them with built in heaters, things like that. Cost in the thousands.
