Just messing.
Just messing.
Good call on the Car bombs Short, I completely forgot about those. One of my funniest drinking stories was caused by one of those.

You fear your own anger, the drive to do great and terrible things."

At the risk of sounding like some of our European posters, I find most American style beer tastes the same. Bud, Coors, etc. Lately I've been on a huge Guinness kick. If I'm going to have an American beer, though, I typically go with Yuengling.

There was only one type of beer I actually liked (didn't have the overwhelming 'fungal' taste)... and it was a Russian brand. I'll have to check with the World Market again and see if they carry it. I can't pronounce the name... but I'd recognize it in an instant.
It's just smooth and tasty... much like beer has often been described as.. but until now... failed to live up to (IMO).
"The weakest soul, knowing its own weakness, and believing this truth that strength can only be developed by effort and practice, will, thus believing, at once begin to exert itself, and, adding effort to effort, patience to patience, and strength to strength, will never cease to develop, and will at last grow divinely strong."

heinekens and crown and cokes are my first choice... other than that.. let me see.
red wine is alway good with steak, i prefer a merlot of a cabernet.
shots... if it's not chilled crown, then patron is another good one.
ketel one martinis are a good way to start any night, keep in mind that every martini consists of two shots for the price of one.
remy is always nice when served "neat"
sake, always go for the premium because it tastes better, and always get it COLD... when it's served hot, it only hides the taste, mainly because you're drinking cheap shit.
draft beers, anything with an amber or ale color.... draft beers always tastes different than bottled one, and draft heinekens suck ass.
am i missing anything?? besides the blended shit which i don't drink, a popular one probably is the pina colada or margarita.

...this is just my perspective on the situation...
So, basically, I was right.

If you can find it, I recommend the Australian Bundaberg rum. Its smooth like good whisky, almost a crime to mix it with anything.

Alcoholic drinks:
1. Jack and Coke
2. Tequilla...doesn't matter what type. But Patron is very nice.
3. Margaritas
Don't really care for beer, Carona is probably the only stuff I'll drink. I've always wanted to try a mojito...especially since I'm half cuban, lol. Next kickback I'm going to get the stuff to make some.
Non-alcoholic:
1. Water
2. Iron Beer (Cuba's national beverage, it's a soda) My dad's uncle drew the picture of the man on the can, who was my dad's cousin.
3. Milk
