For some reason,, I tried to format an external hard drive on my PC, but it says I don't have admin rights ... but it's the only account on it (Windows 7). Even tried to sign in as admin, but I'm not sure how to do it on 7. Even trying to set permissions is failing ...

My day started out boring, because it was raining too hard to do anything. But then, I decided to drag my daughter outside and throw wet, muddy leaves at her, and we had a leaf-war, which was fun. But then, she suddenly got a bad headache, so we went inside and she hopped in the shower, where she proceeded to have a very big seizure. She's asleep now. Thank god she was with me instead of her dad.

Yes. She has epilepsy, and is medically fragile. She will be hospitalized in a couple of weeks for further testing, actually, to see if they have other options to explore before considering surgery.

Speaking of losers, wow am I a big one. I feel my life crumbling apart now, when it was so close to being perfect. I'm now unemployed, running out of money, and have no idea what to say to this woman after I basically bragged that I was so sure I'd gotten this job. I have zero job prospects right now. My life is slipping away, I'm completely ****ed. I'm going to go back to bed and when my head starts to hurt and I can't sleep any longer I'm going to get up and ****ing drink all day. I hate people and I hate my life.

My family is on the opposite coast. I think I can make rent this month, just terrified to look at my bank account. I spent a couple hundred trying to impress and get this last job and was super-excited about it, huge opportunity for me. Granted, the food kind of sucked when I ate there but I could have changed that.

I don't even care if I get a shitty job as long as it pays. I don't want to lose my relationship with this woman because I'm unemployed.

There's a world of difference between unemployed and content and unemployed and looking. Don't stress.

Suck it up and take a job you might not want. Flip burgers if you have to. Whatever. Just get yourself working while you continue looking for viable employment. It's tough right now but not impossible. Take this as a lesson. Never count your chickens, man. I find myself doing it all the time. I know it's a bitch and a half not to get overly excited when that new job comes along or the cute girl slips you her number, but you've got to. Otherwise you're just setting yourself up for disappointment.
