Two gray rainy days with everything closed down during the holiday festivities, so after managing to set up a new driver for my 3-year old laptop and I managed to get Medieval 2 : Total War running pretty well, and while I don't touch games normally not much else is on now so I figured what the heck, might as well make time fly.

And so I encountered what looks like humor on the developers' part Damn Brits and their hooligans.



Apart from that, I have a good chance of getting a job for a property developer, just a temp job for 2-3 weeks before the semester starts again so it would be a good experience, and pays well too.

I finished Medieval 2 as Venice faction^

My sister gave me a little of medium-term hope, I really hope it's not just empty hope.

I enjoyed listening to my son learn how to play a song on the guitar that he plans to entertain his sister with when he visits her in the hospital. And I enjoyed having his friends over for dinner last night... I love young people and the energy they bring to a home.

I went to see my dance instructor's airplane and have brunch at the airport. He showed me what all the things were for on the control panel, and showed me how to use a pilot's map. We looked around at a bunch of other people's planes, and watched a bunch of little planes and helicopters take off and land. I have to say, it was more fun than I expected... it was actually a top-notch date. Now I will have to see if I can muster up the courage to actually go for a ride. He says he will have me FLY the plane, and claims it is no harder than driving a car.


He gave me the map..... I like maps.

Sigh, Vash. Dorky is part of the smoothness. You see. Just being smooth gets you noticed as being smooth, so you add in dorkiness to pretend to be less smooth even though you got that shit on lockdown. I'm barely kidding, too.
