I play real video games, not wow.

So speaking of selling shit, I got a PS3 for sale. It makes a wonderful paper weight just like the xbox 360 but is twice as hard to sell damn it. I'll probably miss Wipeout HD though. I could use the money for a nice 9800 GTX Nvidia

Wait until Resident Evil 5 and Final Fantasy 13 come out next year, it will be worth it.

Cain, you don't need to pay to play.

There are always free servers, if you google them, and some are actually more fun than blizzard servers since everything
is custom and over-powered that you can explore dungeons with ease and less time.

P.S. I've tried these a while back, after giving up my WoW account 1.5 years ago, and not going to bother coming back.

Never going back to that trash. I'm fairly glad to have experienced the glory days of it in the beginning, but today, hell no.

What'd you play in the glory days? When I was a kid I used to play Ultima Online. Now that game knew how to do PvP. And you didn't have to devote half your life to it just to keep your character competitive.

No no, I meant the glory days of WoW, other than that I'm too young to have taken part of much beyond it. Except for Tibia when I was just a kid

Bah! You know nothing of the glory days. Imagine an MMO where all players, PvPers and non, reside on the same server. Where outside the reaches of towns you're free to slaughter anyone you come across. And now imagine summoning a whirlwind of blades into a guy's house and holding the door shut from the outside while the owner frantically tries to escape, then stripping every bit of armor and equipment from his corpse, looting his entire house, and finally decapitating him so you have a gruesome trophy to decorate your castle with. Those were the glory days.

Or imagine building a treasure chest, rigging it with a poison trap and placing it in the bottom of a dungeon. Some unfortunate adventurer stumbles across it and greedily throws the lid open just to get a cloud of noxious gas in his face. Before he can collect his wits you spring forth from the shadows and plunge your blade into his spine.

You don't get to do stuff like that in MMO's these days.

You forget to mention that when it's done from a top view in a 2D world with almost distinguishable pixels it really isn't as exciting as it sounds But at least it allows for some more ingenuity.

Ha I had my days of Runescape, though most of it was just watching my brother play. I laughed at the bullies in the game. They'd wait around for a newbie to pass and kick their ass lmfao. This one guy followed my brother for a real long time kicking his ass. I was laughing my ass off.

I love PvP. I was going to try Warhammer, but a lot of the newer games are going to require some major computer specs and I'm playing on a two-year old laptop.

I will say that world PvP in WoW has gone down... and it sucks. To me, red is dead.

Anyways, I won't play on a free server. I like knowing I at least earned the gear I'm using. And you don't have to devote half of your life to PvP. I can play for <5 hours a week and still attain the best PvP gear.
    I don't chase, I replace.

Meh. I'd gladly trade the ugly cartoon graphics and sparkly effects for an experience that's actually enjoyable.

Final Fantasy 13 was announced to come to the 360 first lol. Anyway, I have not liked one since seven. 8 was playable but after that...uhhh. I think I grew out of that annoying Japanese combat taking turns system..it bores me now..12 sucked. Currently, I am keeping it for Wipeout HD and I also play Silent Hill 5 that I got as a gift for it. Resident Evil 5 looks awesome!
