Kanye was wrong for it ... Come on now, it wasn't even a category he was nominated for ... One thing to diss the president, one with power, and another thing to publicly put down a 19 year old pop singer ... I still have an itch that it was plotted to set up the Beyonce thing or some kind of collaboratio .

I think MTV was trying not to have the same people win multiple awards ... Beyonce won video of the year, not just for females and not just for R&B, but for ALL videos.
