some video game... i think... i need more things...
I'm that star up in the sky
I'm that mountain peak up high
Hey, I made it
I'm the world's greatest
Dreams come true, you just need to have them... (my dream came true... I just hope I never wake up)
I don't agree with what you said. Achieving perfection is possible because everyone's perception of 'perfect' is different. Perfection doesn't work as a whole, but you can be perfect to somebody (but definitely not everybody, nor to many).Originally Posted by DeadbyNature
Seriously, I've been in the situation that you say here. You're afraid that you won't be perfect to her, or that if you are, you're afraid of becoming imperfect. If you worry so much about that, it may affect who you are. And you know what? If you are perfect, you may lose that 'perfection' by trying so hard to keep it. It's a paradox.
In an attempt to doing everything right, you may be committing the one wrong that you are afraid of being guilty of. And that is being something other than what you are. Try to block it out of your mind with all your might. Fears like that can turn out to be a person's downfall. Just be grateful for what you have, cherish it, hold it dear and close to your heart. So many times, people see things that we don't see in ourselves. For example, I was told that this song I am practicing got way better since I last played it, while I didn't hear any difference. How do you know you're not perfection already? Who cares if you are or aren't? As long as she likes you FOR YOU, does it matter if you're perfect?
Perfection is incredibly hard to achieve (near impossible). Don't strive for it if it means being fake in any way.
As for the question... eh. I've been asking myself that for a long time.
If a dream comes true... then is it still a dream?
Thanks, Prodigal.
Most of don't bother with these types of questions because they can't be answered. You did a good job attempting though.
Dead, you can't "act" naturally. Or even act "naturally." Do you see the paradox? That's why we were f*cking with you. Your personality is something you'll have to learn on your own.
Ah, the zen of courting... Alan Watts says: "Become what you are!"

That code dates as far back as Contra for the NES.
wow.... thanks a lot prodigal... you're right... i guess i should be greatful for what i have... and stop thinking in being perfect... thanks a lot... even with my question answered i think i'll hang out for a little while here. other doubts may appear....
if your dream came true it's stops being a dream because the dream is not something that you wish anymore but something that you already have... (i can't explain it better; my english sucks (i'm portuguese))
