Call local caterers and ask them the same question.

Am I the only one who made assumptions based on the thread title?

What you said in another thread was not a joke.
So yeah... it rubbed me the wrong way.
Either you are cool with me or you aren't.
I never came at you that way and you shouldn't have done the same but it's all good.
    It can stay this way.

I would charge 100 bucks 10/hr. Keep in mind though once prep is done, there's a lot of waiting and not doing much.
Way too cheap. Way. Thirty bucks an hour. There's not actually all that much downtime if you're making an entire meal and a private chef would charge at least $25 an hour (bare minimum), and there are two of you.

I'm only going to be doing the desserts.
My mother will do the rest she's the pro chef.

The lady came up with the menu and it's a big meal.

Is there enough space in her oven to do a turkey and a ham at the same time?

first off, let me clarify things for you. i do not hate you in any sort of way. i don't hate any member of this forum, but i will admit that i tend to pick on those that i feel comfortable with a lot more. basically put, if i give you a hard time, then you've been recognized.

anyways, i don't remember which thread you are referring to, but if it's something that i didn't mean in a sarcastic way, then i meant it. i tell people like it is because that's the way that i want people to tell it to me. sure i won't agree all the time, and i probably will get mad too, but in reality, it's better knowing the truth rather than to have something sugar coated.

if you don't feel so comfortable with the way that i speak, just as PP. like you are close to mish... PP knows that i can be a dickhead most of the time.

Coco, you are too sensitive. Its an internet forum. Barely one step removed from reading a 'choose your own adventure' book. Do you get upset when you read a book & the characters don't do exactly what you expect?

Aim for some detachment like the podcasts I mentioned.

Not really sensitive. I just don't like being called names for no reason.
Simple as that. I don't like to be disrespected.

But Okay. Thanks for the tip.
