Good call there. But I want to give her a couple of days. Actually, at least 5 days. She knows I'm not scared of him, but I do want to know what is going on with her and if she's ok and whatnot. Maybe take her out for dinner? As a friend?

Well, knowing her. The only time I can take her out is after 6pm. So does that count as lunch? LOL.
Nah, I know what you mean. It won't be anything fancy. Just grab something to eat in order to talk face to face.
I agree.
You should act like a good friend, not a romeo.
You should give her some time too cool off, and only offer emotional support.
Don't make any "romantic" moves or things like that.
If she is interested, and wants to ditch her mad dog, she will make the moves
if she knows you like her than that's more reason for her to leave her geezer of a boyfriend. you could also point out that at least you're not a huge liar like him right?
