Is that the strawberry-orange-banana flavor? That is my favorite, but they quit carrying it at my local market.

I am drinking coffee with vanilla-flavored creamer.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

    See what you know?

I've been feeling a bit off, lately, so it helps me to sleep. I have to chase it with a gulp of cola, tho. Even 'good' whiskey.

If Indi drank too much in my presence I'd probably have to take advantage of her

Is that the date rape drug? You don't need to resort to that, just your clever conversation would be 'high' enough.

BTW, don't joke w/that kind of stuff to a girl you like, DM. Not until you've gotten to know her a lot better, at least.

This world of political correctness will be my downfall. I remember cracking a bunch of jokes with racial humor in front of some of my liberal friends and they thought it was so terribly mean! And then one of them starts making dead baby jokes, but that was just hilarious! Sigh.... The world we live in

I can't believe how much people take offense to things. I guess I'm just so used to my cousins who could crack any type of joke without a guilty conscience

I read an article in Esquire discussing political correctness and what it's done to society. People are assholes now. Moreso than they used to be. At least according to the article. And that's because they can get away with it.

In the eighties you insulted a man and he'd slug you in the mouth. Now you insult a man and he's expected to walk away and tell his psychiatrist. So everyone's a jackass because there are no worries. The article concluded with the writer describing how he'd beat the shit out of some hippie named Jericho.

    I smiled.

I know... The dead baby joke went like this:

Q: What's the difference betwen a dead baby and a delicious golden apple?

A: I don't cum all over the apple before I take a bite

    My jokes were things like....

Why were so many blacks killed in Vietnam?

Because everytime the Sgt. yelled "Get down!" the blacks guys would jump up and start dancing!

I think its more that, until ppl know you better, those types of comments are best kept to oneself.

Remember, most ppl don't really give a shit about YOU. So there's the face you present to the world and the real you that only a select, trusted few get to see.

There are some who think that 'real' you & your 'rest of the world' you should be the same. Or that its somehow fake to have a 'rest of the world' you. But its not fake & its naive to believe its okay to just 'express yourself' whenever you feel like it. Simply b/c every time you express yourself, you generate responses in people that may cause them to start working against their own issues. And ppl really hate being made to feel or think things they didn't intend.

So, its all the 'real you', its just a continuum of levels. Keep the deeper levels reserved for those who can be trusted to still love & understand them.
