How much of a handicap is being an Asian male?

I guess it depends on your social circle! Obviously if you tend to hang out with Asians 80% of the time then it is pretty hard for Caucasians(just for example) females to feel...attracted because, well, totally different lifestyles!

So hang out more, reach out more just to know people of more different backgrounds and ethnicity. You are living in Australia, which is where i'm from, and my experiences tell me girls there are much more acceptable to mates of a different ethnicity.

Keep it up! Just don't try to become a person whom you are not, delibrately forgetting your roots is a big no-no, i think, cos that just makes you a...'whitey-wannabe'? haha

I'm a 23 year old fella whose never had a g/f or r/s before. I'm not bad looking, just thin and shy.

...actually the main reason I don't find Asian women as attractive is their personality, they are too hard to approach, shy.etc. And many of them are kind of nerdy and pale looking.

Hey.... you know what they say. "Once you go asian, you never go caucasian". Sorry, didnt know how to spell it (even though i could look it up on previous posts, but im too lazy =p). I don't say that, but i hear it from time to time. FYI, i don't agree with it. It's kinda like saying "once you go black you never go back."

white (that includes, germans, frenchiesss, americans, canadians, etc.)
black and indians are my last, but i dont really care.

You know babies from different ethnicities usually have stronger immune systems b/c they end up having more alleles for more different MHC sequences.

Most of my mates aren't Asian and I have a few girl friends, just haven't found the one, and it hasn't got beyond the friendship stage either. Sometimes I sense there's a bit of attraction but I'm never sure enough of myself. My height (Everyone is so tall these days!) while not short, at 5'8" doesn't help too much either. Guess I've got to learn to be more boorish and rowdy!
