It depends on who your insurance carrier is and how long you've had them. They may decide to overlook it. As a general rule, it is better to pay for little things like that out of pocket.

I just bought a new car today, so I'm on my way to to go pay the leeches more money. They have this list of cars most frequently stolen, and if your car is on it (which my new one is), you have to pay more. Such a ****in rip off.
