Most people don't acquire (decent) furniture until they are settled in a permanent job.

I agree with Vash, tho. If you wanted, for $1000 you could decently furnish a small apartment. Sell it to local students (or the next occupants) when you move.

But, if you are happy with it, there's nothing wrong with sparse. Personally, I prefer clean to cluttered. A futon, a low table, some cushions, a place to work. You could be Japanese.

Or they find furniture to be overbearing... like chains one must drag around, so opt for the minimal or find creative solutions instead.

Why is a bed necessary? I know some people who sleep on mattresses, but I'm in college though. People in Japan don't have beds, they just use a mattress I think.

They use a futon that is often put on a frame that is slightly raised from the floor (a few inches). No boxspring mattress + frame like western bedrooms.

Tho, Japan takes minimalism to an extreme. Know what a capsule room is? Like sleeping in a microwave. Google it.

Girls are bad. They hate me because I am ugly. You should see the reaction I got from them at a party. Women are just shallow as men it sucks to be an ugly man because you can never find a girlfriend.

I used to be such a nice boy I would have treated my girlfriend so well. Now I am bitter and hate filled, women are bad.

No woman ever looks past appearances. I have to hit the gym every single day to even have a chance which is really crap. I was supposed to go tonight but I am too tired to move. SIGH* I really hate working out, it is shit.

I'd imagine the women you've encountered have never looked past appearances... and there are tons out there who are shallow and egotistical. However, the same can be said of men too.

It's not easy being ugly and female... I had to endure high school as being less than attractive. Wasn't until much later that I actually turned out halfway decent looking. The change in how I am treated by men is very apparent. Now they are nicer to me... and actually want to talk. However, I don't really care for what they have to say... as I know they wouldn't be interested if not for liking what they saw.

It's difficult finding someone who can look past appearances -- whether you are ugly or attractive --- to the real you.

Usually the people who can see what's 'really there' are the ones who are tired of the game... and generally just stop caring about appearances altogether --- theirs and others. They've moved beyond such a petty thing... it's beneath them.

Women blame men like me for things other men have done wrong. I am ugly in terms of being attractive to women but I am presentable.
