I just got back from street racing on route 1 in a ****ing Prius. A fedora would have been the perfect accoutrement to me hanging outside the passenger side window, flipping people off and screaming drunkenly at the lame jackasses who couldnt ****ing pass a Prius. The loser wound up getting his car all busted up, too. Accidentally threw him into his own vehcile and knocked the left mirror off. Hahah. Tequila, sweet nectar, how I love thee. Personally I'd go for a flat cap, it's casual enough to wear without looking like a pretentious jerk, but stylish enough to stand out and still way more formal than a baseball cap.
Used to have two of 'em, one was stolen by my younger sis and lost the other one at a party.
