I hate the word "babe", it sounds stupid and rediculous coming out of my mouth...probably cause I don't look like those bar guys.

It is a stupid word. But if you use it in a self-deprecating way it isn't so bad. I come off as such an incredibly pathetic loser that it's actually funny. Sometimes. Rarely.

Yeah but it doesn't hurt to wait a few hours. Then she will be DRIPPING by the time you get round to calling her.

Oh yes...good old tactics.. been there, done that. Just forget it. (it can give you an instant result, but in a long term... no.)

The real thing is always the best: if you feel like calling, just call. Be spontaineous. Simple as that. To her, you will seem like a confident, sincere person that has nothing to hide.

BUT, as Gigabitch said, you should always think about HER needs as well, so show some respect, don't bore her, etc.

and how can one do that. i mean when you talk so much you seem to have nothing to say unless your in person then it's easier because it can be something thats happening, like the environment. I'm much better in person then on the phone but sometimes i just find i have nothing to say to people as in talking subjects.

To be interesting, you have to be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about a few (interesting) topics, and have an interesting hobby. You also need to be interested in hearing about what SHE finds interesting.
