In my opinion, marriage has always set barriers. Not wanting to get married doesn't neccesarily mean that you are not shure or do not want to be with that partner forever. its just that for some people, it kind of implies some forced obligations to them, making people (especially housewives) to want something new. Love is just a feeling anyway, and eventually it is all brought down to persons ow life experience and the excitement of current life compared to past experiences. Excitement, as always, gets old.

I didn't mean like old old. Looks deteriorate with age, so when your wife is like 50, it's kinda hard for her to compete with a 20 something year old on the basis of looks.

I totally think that I can still love my wife when I'm 50, but I'd also wanna screw hot 20 year olds too. But I'd still love my wife. Just not as much as I used to sexually lol. But romantically, she's the one for me, who I'd wanna be with. But if you take away the options to screw hot girls by locking me down with marriage, then you might not be worth it. Did that make any sense?

I think there was a "who's more shallow - men or women?' thread somewhere. Men are more visual creatures than women when it comes to attraction, I think that makes them more shallow.
