No one quotes the Simpsons anymore... this was refreshing.
Ghost, as someone who has always been on the broken end of the break up I can tell you the best you can do for her is break it off clean.
Anytime "love", "just friends", and "on a break" is invovled (in my cases anyhow)... it made the break up so much more agonizing in the end and it caused that healing process to be soon drawn out.
And maybe you'll get back together... but it doesn't happen through dwindling in and out of an expired relationship. It happens when each of you discover each other as indiviual entities.
Breaking it off with no contact may seem cruel and it will hurt both of you, but things will be so much brighter on the end of that tunnel when the time comes.
