I have to agree. One never knows until they throw the dice, two weeks, two months or two years. Sounds like you have a good safety net with some cash of your own, so at least you won't be homeless if things should turn sour.

So it's crazy? Yeah, but so what? It makes life interesting....I say go for it.

PS: The roommate may or may not be a problem. Depends upon his/her attitude. I've seen really cool roommates and nightmares as well.

thanks blackisharley. his roommate is cool. my friends have already started offering to let me spend the night once in a while so i'm very happy about that. i will be taking a lot of advantage of their generous offers.

your welcome mis oh and heres some advice with cats...apparently when you move somewhere new they try and get back to where they used to live for a while...so a trick that someone told me once is to put butter on all thier paws when you first move in and then they spend aaaaaaaaaages licking it off and by that time theyve forgotten that theyve moved and are used to all the new smells etc

oh yeah the butter on the paws thing. i do that when they have hairballs. but i'll definitely try it when i move. i have 2 cats and only one goes outside. i hate having cats in an apartment though because the smell permeats much faster.

sorry to hear that mis. getting into the housing market is a nightmare for first time buyers i have no idea how i am going to do it! Chin up, lemons suck but sometimes theres a bit of sugar
