    Wow, that's sad.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

    Misombra that is so sad.

SB, I dont know if there's a cut off age really, there are actually places for just the older crowds so I doubt there's a limit. But what I dislike is when the older people come in the club and try to act young with the latest slangs tryin to hit on the younger girls. I mean if you just go to have a good time thats great, but dont go there hitting on someone who is potentially the age of your daughter lol. I personally find it disgusting when the older men try to dance with me, I feel like I'd be dancing with my father.

ye i know what you mean about the slimy father age thing, i myself don't think i could go out with someone past the age of 35...maybe i'm wrong, my ex was 6 years younger than me. but another point is i absolutely adore talking to older people, they are so interesting and have a sweetness and honesty to them which i adore. it's a pity the body ages. tbo i wish i'd had more time with my gran to chat about things.

What do you mean by partying? And what is a party to you?

I go to 1-2 parties every weekend. Sometimes It's just me sitting around with my friends and having a few drinks, sometimes it's a triple kegger, and sometimes it's a BYOB bash.

I'm an undergrad and I actually don't party that much at all. And I am on a campus which is having an alcohol ban at the fraternities because it's a huge problem here.

And I kind of despise women who go to parties and act provocative and all. The last party I went to, I remember 3 girls who were making out with every guy that would let them. It's so nasty, if I knew my girlfriend was like that at any time, it'd take me a long time to get over it.

I am actually one of those nerdy kinds that enjoys spending time alone, drawing, painting, writing, and reading, lol. But I am not antisocial. Actually I just got done having dinner with an old friend who invited me to a ping pong tournament at his frat this weekend.

So, you know, it's okay for you to go out and have a good time. Why shouldn't you? You're single, you don't have many commitments, what the hell, hmm? Just don't go to a college party or anything like that, lol (sorry, I don't know what you mean by party)

partying to me means feeling the need to dress up and spend time with friends, involving alcohol until the early hours of the morning, it can be in the house or in a club/pub

I guess by "partying" I meant getting tispy with friends at a celebratory event, like a birthday, homecoming, industry event, etc., I sure as hell don't go to college parties. That would be like like Stifler's mom territory.

I tend to go out for an occasion or to see friends I haven't seen in a while. Not just to go out and get drunk, although that ends up being what everyone does. Some of these events have open bars, too, which makes it extra easy to imbibe.

Just to reiterate. SB? If I saw you at a party I'd probably lean my sweaty inebriated body against you and flirt to no end, all while assuming you were maybe a couple of years older than me, tops. You'd hear such classics as "Hey baby, if I wrote the dictionary I'd put me and your sister together," punctuated with a nice long beer belch, naturally.

So if going to the club is for the sluts what do you call the people who go to college parties? College parties are way worst than the club. It's just a wild place and I surely dont see myself going to any. I like going to the club to loosen up especially after a hard day with my demon...err I mean daughter lol. It's a good place to loosen up with your friends and just have fun. I dont go to the extent of getting drunk though, just enough for me to lighten up about my stressful day, then go home and spend some time with my daughter in the morning.

EDIT: I guess I'm different. I've never went to the club to meet guys and such. I actually dont want to meet a guy in the club cuz he's most likely looking for a quick ****. I just go and have a good time dancing.

exactly! thats the whole point isn't it, have a good ol' boogie. i love it, saying that i do prefer hosting parties in my house, its more relaxing and more fun coz they can go on for a couple of days without the bar closing, a quick kip for 30 mins and back in form again.

yeah this thing of "clubs are for slutty people" I hear from people on here all the time. Is it an American thing? I've never heard that sentiment expressed here in Sydney. Most young people go to clubs.
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.

Could be the perfect time to try CB's lunging idea, when you would be drunk and pliable.

Here in the city young people go to clubs, too. I don't think it makes them any more or less slutty than the people who hang out in bars.

Maybe it's different in the 'burbs.
