I agree that the boyfriend is strange; but a person who chooses to be someone like the boyfriend...doesn't that something about her, too? Its not meant to be an insulting comment; actually more concern than anything else. I think that the original poster on this thread ought to look into herself and ask why she chooses people like this guy. She claims to be happy, but her comments come across defensive about the whole thing, like she's trying to convince herself (and us)

Oh serious person like that. I used to be like you. You need to stop worrying and over think things. Relax have fun. Trust me worrying doesn't do anything good for anyone. One way helped me was finding what I like to do, deal with my drepression and get a good sense of humor. Nobody wants to be with negative person and when you're worrying you're thinking negatively. Do it for yourself not your boyfriend. Worrying isn't good for your health at all.
