Whats up with some guys who like fat women

It's almost like the OP is saying that fat women don't deserve attraction so it's "abnormal" for a man to be attracted to them.

Thats right. I don't know why some men find obese women attractive. Thats why I am asking.

I thinks curvy women are sexy, the type like Bluesummer. However, I do not find fat and obese women attractive. I equally find anorexic women to be unattractive. Not only are extremes on both side unattractive to me but they are also unhealthy. I am not saying that everyone should share my own taste, thats why I am asking. I really need a more descriptive explanation of why some men like fat women.

The guys I know of that are with fat women started dating them because they were nice and they got along well. The fact that they were fat was not really a factor, rather just a fact.

As for being attracted to fatness in particular, well......to each his own. There are more than a few people that find that body type attractive. I'm not sure why they should have to EXPLAIN their attraction to anyone, any more than a man who likes women with practically no breasts, or a chick that is turned on by extremely hairy men. How can people possibly explain their attraction?

Personally I could never date a fat girl. And if I dated a girl who then got very fat I would most likely lose all romantic interest in her.

I would be more likely divorce my wife if she became obese than if she cheated.

I know that's not very admirable, but it's just the way I am.

Question though.....if you became grossly overweight in the future (medical problem perhaps?), would your point of view make you more understanding if your wife divorced or cheated on you because you were no longer attractive to her?

Not saying it would happen, but you never know.

Well if my wife became overweight because of a medical condition that would be different. I would hang around then.

But if I happened to become obese and my wife no longer wanted to have sex with me, or wanted to leave the marriage, yes, I would completely understand. Because I would feel the same in her position.

edit: and I should add I'm not talking about getting a bit softer with age. I'm talking about getting fat like with the flapping arms and flapping jowels with no neck. That sort of thing.

I don't mind a little meat on girls. My personal preference is petite shorts girls. Mostly because I'm pretty skinny as it is. I don't really want someone that's heavier than me. But what it really comes down to is personality. I've met some girls I initially wasn't attracted to physically at all, but when I got to know them that changed.

I can certainly explain my attraction to certain type of men. For example, I like tall men because it makes me feel protected. I think the more refined question here is "how does fat women make men feel for those who like them?".

There are all kinds of reasons why someone would be attracted to a "fat" person. Perhaps they have a social view that an obese partner means that they're a good provider. That they're not starving.

Perhaps they just find larger women attractive. Maybe they feel fat women are better in bed? Or perhaps they like food, and like to date people who like food as much as they do? How about they secretly have a fetish for it, or a fetish for feeding people, or...

Is there something about being obese that makes you unlovable here? Seriously, there's only so much to be gained from physical attraction. Once I was sleeping with a rather attractive woman, probably one of the most attractive I've ever slept with, when she uttered a phrase that could be commonly overheard in a trailer park. Instant boner-killer. Seriously, I got up, grabbed my crap and left mid-hump. Never talked to her ever again.

People have all kinds of standards and things they find attractive. I know a man who doesn't care how large a woman is, but he does care how large her breasts are. To him the larger the better.

Personally I hate constantly having to defend them from attacking tentacle monsters. Do you know how much it costs to get tentacle slime dry cleaned out of your clothing constantly?

I have a friend who's husband is Nigerian. In their culture, the bigger the better, because it shows that a woman is well taken care of....not poor and in bad health. My friend is overweight, and her husband thinks it's awesome, even encourages her to gain more.

He once made the comment about me to my ex-husband "Don't worry, after she has a couple of kids she will gain some weight, and she'll be perfect!" My ex looked like he wanted to ralph....he was never into overweight chicks. I found the whole difference between their points of view quite amusing.
