My girlfriend said to me when we were listening to music that she was getting bored of it which gave me a cool idea. Bein obsessed with music and owning over 200 songs or so it was an easy but effective task.

What I did was: Buy a cheap 1gb memory stick, have a browse through my library of music and select songs that I thought she would like (Tori Amos, Arcade Fire etc) and put them on the stick and give to Rosie with a letter. She loved it. Simple but effective.

Another thing I do is write her love letters just saying how happy she makes me then hiding them and cutting out love hearts and hiding them also.

Mix tapes are dead. Digital is the way forward.
