    Evanescence - My Immortal

Hauntingly beautful voice (Amy Lee) and Piano. The lyrics are deep as well. One of the most depressing songs I've ever heard.

Lol, good thing you aren't blunt about it. The ONLY reason I would ever hold anything against evanescence is because so many people like them. I don't like popular things cause I think for the most part people are retarded.

what about Enya? Anyone a fan of hers? It's not that she is depressing but if your depressed, it can be.

How is my Immortal a bad song? Just because you don't like the group. You don't have to like any group, but when somebody does a song that many compare to In the arms of an Angel...you've done something right. I dare find somebody to find something wrong with that song concerning lyrics, the subtle piano, violin, background voice blending extremely well with her talented solo, etc. I mean everyone has there opinons, but I have yet to here anyone give a real reason to why My Immortal supposidly(sp) sucks.

Its true..you could hate Evanescence...but that song is damn powerful. If you sit there and close your eyes, seriously absorbing those lyrics with that subtle background music..its sheerly amazing how powerful it is. And if you can relate to the lyrics, I guarentee a tear will fall. Just like with Sarah and In the Arms of an Angel.

I dunno dude, listen to Brian McKnights - Anytime song. That is powerfully moving, and hauntingly well recorded.
