I'd say that you shouldn't wait anymore, but since you've insisted that it is ok for you, I wont. But still, never expect that one day he would go back to you. And when the time comes that you find that someone who can give you the greater feeling you are looking for, never pass up on that opportunity because of your willingness to wait for your ex. Second chances don't come too often, so the first chance you get at another good opportunity, make sure to never waste it.

I tend to agree with the people here who have said that you should move on, I don't think waiting for someone in the hope that they'll come back to you is a good thing, but I have to ask, even if he did come back to you would you really want him knowing that he replaced you so quickly?

Oh and I agree with Empty - tell your dad, keeping secrets from the people who love you the most isn't a good thing either!
