lf has been going very well over the last quarter. there were the occasional fights about the usual things like religion and politics. But there's never a lack of new opinions, which is a huge plus. There's been a lot humor going on, but then some people seem to have lost their sense of humor, like ov.. We've gained new people such as starbuck, ladynisha, and eco. it's always nice to have new people that are as cool as they are. eco has the occasional hissy fit over something, but it's not so bad.

the hottness of the members has always been pretty steady. hot people are crawling all over this forum.

the gallery kinda sucks. it's always been the elephant in the room. non-regulars and people who don't even post have a million pictures of their weird-looking faces all over the place. and i still haven't figured out how to delete them. i would like further training in this area.

we lost some members, but gained new and improved ones. overall this quarter is a sign of good things to come.

I'll take it a step further and do a quarterly SWOT analysis:

Strengths: We have a good base of regular posters who are diverse, and keep the topics interesting...and often fiery. Unlike some other forums, I don't have to worry that I'll come back in two days and only one person has posted a reply to something. Despite a high turnover rate, we generally seem to be retaining the quality members.

Weaknesses: I concur with Miso's point about the Gallery. There are too many photos in there from non-posting members that need to be cleaned out. Perhaps we need to consider needing either a specific post count, or an invitation by another member to post pics. Anyone who hasn't posted in over a year has their pics removed. Otherwise, I'd say our only other weakness would be certain members continuing to fuel fires that we know always end badly - like religion and politics.

Opportunities: I see opportunity for growth....perhaps we could arrange a hostile takeover of a few other forums. We have the numbers. They'd be at our mercy. This would open up more moderator positions, which would motivate members....upward mobility is always a motivational tool.

Threats: I'm going to go out on a limb and say we have no threats, unless another bitter ex-member wants to start their own forum and headhunt from among our members again.

As a raise, I will accept suggestive pictures of the hot members. Thank you.

Where you're performing well
Your devastating critique of lil 'wing's painting was highly amusing. Also you are the board's only Estonian poster and we like to promote ethnic diversity here at LF.

Where you're performing poorly
Your depression, which evidently persists, is becoming tiresome. Comments like "I guess I'm just dissapointed with the world" don't add value, or align with board's objectives. You need to refocus the image you present because remember when you post you don't just talk for yourself, you carry the Love Forum brand. If you feel it might be of benefit, I can arrange up to two weeks' stress leave for you, or scale back your duties here at the forum. It would all be quite discreet. Also, I might send over a copy of the forum's policies on health and safety, which includes our stated commitment to the mental well-being of our postsers.


So booba, hopefully our little talk's confirmed our appreciation for your efforts, as well as given you some insight into some areas you can work at boosting your forum competencies.

Pros: The mods generally keep the forums devoid of spam and spammers. And certain mods ban offenders with reasons like "gay", "faggot", and "cocksucker".

Cons: We have probably 1 too many subforums, and can probably get rid of the "ask a male" "ask a female" subs, as well as a few others.
