That it's not going to work - as you've been told already. You need to cut ties with this girl. Tell her you aren't interested in her and that you should stop talking to each other.

stop being so nice to her, meeting up with her, chatting online etc. your giving her the wrong impression, sending mixed signals. i know your really deep and interested in why or how she ended up like this. the short version of it is she had a dysfunctional childhood. leave it there, stop analyzing her or trying to figure her out. your feeding her crush and shell end up obsessive. a girl like this could ruin your life. she has a lot of problems and needs professional help. if i were you-next time she asks you to hang out- say "i cant im meeting my grlfriend" and always have an excuse ready. online have a brief chat and then say "got to go" and just disappear. shell get the message if you stop giving her attention
