Put it back in your pants if you do, Tone. She might snap it off if you were to. ;-)

Speak less. Say more.
I need help too man.. Maybe your situation is same as mine. I've been dating this girl. But I've no idea how to ask the girl to be my girlfriend. Going out on dates doesnt make us exclusives, right?.. Anyone, can help us?? Btw, im already 24. (embarassed smile )
Just have a talk with her.. ask her where she sees the relationship going, and tell her you were wonderin about taking it to the next level (being exclusive with one another) and just see how she feels about the 2 of you.
I say avoid the whole thing; you don't need to have a girlfriend at 14.
It's not so much your not mature enough to handle it. Call me sheltered, but you don't need the pain until you can really handle it later on in life.
Borealis
very true , what Borealis said, i say wait a couple of more years , till you get a job , maybe a driver's liscense and grow some muscles and facial hair first ... just kidding about this maybe a driver's liscense and grow some muscles and facial hair first
"Would you be interested in having a relationship?" If you really must.
Although generally speaking I would say avoid relationships till you are at least 15-16.
Ask her to be your girlfriend. Just ask her. Maybe some mushy talk leading up to it. Whatever is comfortable for you (well, of course you'll be nervous . . . )
Good luck!
I got my 14 year old brother, well I hooked him up with a girl two years older than he is chatting on my cellphone. So i don't think there's nothing wrong with telling it to her over the messenger, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. damn what's a man gotta do?
Well send her an instant message telling her you got something very important to talk to her about. If she insists that you tell her then over the messeneger just tell her that it's kind of private or needs to be heard face to face, then arrange with her when and where to meet and talk.
If she gives you the chance to talk to her alone. Well when you meet she'll ask "what is it?", you tell her, " it's you". tell her that you've been friends but over the years you've gotten to like her for who she is. Remind her of how long you've known each other, how well you've gotten to know, how close you've known her. I don't mean close as of been neigbours but even yours hearts. Tell her that you've liked her like a friend, but would like her to be more than just that . What? Be straight and say, " i wanna be your boyfriend".
Well you do it your way, be yourself but that's a start-up idea for you.
