While it is true that some men do not report abuse for various reasons, yes blame it on the way men are socialized....you're also forgetting that there are many women who ALSO do not report physical abuse. And unless you'd like to come see my textbooks, i can't show you a stat but it's been confirmed by both policemen and lawyers who came to lecture our class when i took a domestic violence course.

No matter what the exact stats are, i'm still more inclined to believe that women are still more affected by domestic violence as a whole and that is not to undermine any experiences men have had with abusive women. The way our society works and the way we are all socialized promotes violence against women.

Back in 2004 a study was conducted asking ppl in north carolina if wife beating was ok and 20% of ppl said yes. All i know is, i am NOT moving there.

I'd recommend taking a domestic violence course if anyone has time, it's very informational and it's rare to find anyone who has not experienced abuse directly or have ppl around them who are experiencing it. It's a heavy subject, i had to decompress everytime i was done with the class especially.

You have no access to a scanner? I have trouble believing that. Also in your alleged statistic.
But it's of no consequence. Your assertions that "women are more affected" blah blah blah is in itself a sexist statement and a perpetuation of the status quo. Congratulations, you've awarded the XX chromosome side of the species special privileges.
