Some of my favorites have already been listed, but I would say RSKs taste is most similar to mine. Also, I notice there is a lack of older classic movies being mentioned (except for The Great Escape, unless I missed them).
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

i see, you were talking about the movie! i thought you were alluding to some thread or other elvis was brought up in. i liked the the "whole elvis thing", though i've never questioned the point of it.

i love steve martin, too, esp. "the lonely guy" and "L.A. story".
but do you really prefer "return of the jedi" to "star wars" and "the empire strikes back"?

oh yeah that's what i meant... ::goes back to change it:: whichever the middle one was, which is empire strikes back, i'm sure now. lol

steve martin is so good i absolutely adore him. they need to put him in another really good movie though.

l.a. story is one of my very favorites. another one is my blue heaven, you seen? the guy he plays reminds me of my boyfriend.

I missed your post, alice. I like some of yours and never heard of others. I disn't care for Star Wars, though.

Here are some I like, although I don't think I could say they are the top ten. I couldn't narrow them down so far, and these are not even including foreign films:

    Pulp Fiction
    Bonnie and Clyde
One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest
    Thelma and Louise
    Cool Hand Luke
    The Deer Hunter
    The Piano
    Glory
    Forest Gump
    Platoon

i like most of those, don't know some of them, but i really hated seeing the piano - not because it's a bad film, just because it made me so angry to see that woman being used like she was.

I like the bit where Harvery Keitel is rubbing the skin on Holly Hunter's leg through a hole in her stocking while lying on the floor under her piano while she plays. It is my version of porn for women - very erotic without being ugly.
    :-)

Is anyone else having trouble posting today? I have tried to PM misombra 3 times, and I don't think they are going through.

    WOW, are you Serious???

    the movie is GREAT......

...it's the type of movie that makes you FEEL without saying anything, just by actions and the way the plot moves.........

there are some movies that make you cry, because the main actors say

    "I LOVE you Betty"

    "I LOVE you too Johny"

and then they HUG and get a cheap reaction from the audience

the terminal is not like that. there is more Action than words, and a lot is left for the Audience to ponder...

......i liked the movie a lot.
