    Tell her to think of it this way.... The braces are in YOUR mouth... If they are safe there, it is safe for her to kiss you.

    There is very very little chance of getting caught or cut by braces... Only when there is something wrong, and you'll know when that happens.

    .. how about.. um.. it's strange that your ex still does it, considering she's your ex. ("my ex plays with..") or was that meant to be the past tense of 'play'?
